There have been several questions about the set up for the
National. I’ll try to give you a visual.
If you go to http://www.eisenhower.com/resourcefiles/pdf/eisenhower-hotel-first-floor.pdf
for a floor plan of the Eisenhower I, you’ll see that the Grand Ballroom
consists of Longstreet Suites on one side, Ballroom in the middle and Grant,
McClellan and Lee Suites on the other end. The Longstreet Suites and the
Ballroom area in the middle will be open for the ring and spectator seating.
The Lee and McClellan Suites will also be opened up to form a crating
area. Premium Grooming spaces (5’ by 5’)
are in the first two rows of the crating area (they are sold out). Crating will
begin behind Premium Grooming and go to the back of this area. PLEASE stack
your crates to maximize the room. ). There will also be a paddock area for dogs
waiting to show unless the space is required for crating. Overflow crating will
be in part of one hallway outside the ballroom. I hope this helps explain the
layout better for everyone.
