Trophy Sponsorship in Premium List

Don't forget that this Thursday--March 1st--is the deadline to have your trophy sponsorship in the premium list! Why not honor a special Basenji or person by sponsoring a trophy in his/her name? Sponsorships in memory of a special Basenji or person are a lovely gift, also.
Consider going to the online store to order your trophy sponsorship by Thursday.

Update on Site Hotel Reservations

The EisenhowerHotel and Conference Center still has rooms available for the entire week of the specialty. There was some misunderstanding that it was booked. Although rooms are filling quickly, the hotel has never been totally booked. If the type of room you wish to have is not available (ex. all suites are booked), please ask for another type. If you did not get the type you wanted over the weekend, please try calling back as more room types have been added to our block. Again, if you are booking the weekend before or the Sunday night after, please book early!

Important Hotel Reservation Information

Important Site Hotel Information--If you are having trouble booking online for the Eisenhower Hotel and Conference Center, it is because all the rooms set aside for Tuesday July 10th have been filled. HOWEVER, I just spoke to the hotel Reservationist, and she said rooms are still available in the hotel, so please just call the hotel to book your room at (717) 334-8121. Ask for the Reservationist if you have problems. Please know that if you are planing to come the weekend before or staying the Sunday night or Monday night after, those rooms are filling rapidly.

Things are really starting to get exciting now. The Specialty Flyer is available on the website and the new "wearables" (2012 logo merchandise) are available through the store on the website.

Exciting new merchandise to be on website soon! Watch the National website this week for the new merchandise to be posted. We are thrilled to have an embroidery company working on our sweatshirts, baseball caps and visors. We're excited to say that screen printing of the National logo is also going to be available on Urban totes and t-shirts.

No sale of site hotel to casino

Myth: The Eisenhower Hotel and Convention Center and AllStar Complex are being sold and turned into a casino.
Truth: Gambling in the hotel's area was once again turned down last year. No need to worry about our 2012 National venue.
